​​​Enjoy summer days on our patch of the beautiful Kent Countryside. Our site provides you a real camping experience with lots of space to relax & play, surroundings to explore & a little adventure outside of your daily routines.
Although we're tucked away in the village of Shepherdswell, its just a short 10 minute drive to Dover & Canterbury. Or hop on the train in the village to explore this part of Kent - you can even get the train to London in just over 1 hour!
Set on a working arable farm you might spot the odd tractor rolling past. Offering pick your own pitch – you’re free to choose the spot you most like the look of!

We now have some electric gravelled pitches available - please note these are in a different field to our main top camping field. Our main grass camping field remains completely non electric!

We're a family focused site also welcoming couples & solo travellers.

***GROUPS*** We accept a maximum of 3 pitches together as a group on our main camping field. If you're booking individually but are part of a group please inform us of your group. We're a quiet site - family groups are a firm favourite but we don't accept groups looking for a party! No adult only groups or stag/hen party groups!

BBQs & Fire Pits are allowed but must be kept elevated off the grass.

Dogs MUST be kept on leads whilst on the campsite. There's plenty of off lead space surrounding the campsite to keep our furry friends happy too!

Once you're parked up - please do not leave your engine running. This is disturbing for your fellow campers and nobody wants to be breathing in the smelly fumes - we're in the countryside!

Please leave communal spaces how you would wish to find them.
Firewood must NOT be collected from the private woodland next door.​​

Coxhill Camping makes the perfect stop to break up a journey before or after a ferry crossing – we’re just a 10 minute drive away from Dover Ferry Port!
With very easy access to our campsite from the main A2 road – you don’t have to navigate any narrow country lanes to get to us. Making us the most convenient choice in the area!

​Q) We'll be arriving late to the campsite - is this ok?
That's no problem. We would just ask you arrive as quietly as possible please, as we have quiet time across the campsite from 10pm.
If you arrive before 10pm - you will gain access to the pitch that you've booked as our campsite gates shut at 10pm. If you arrive after 10pm, you will be directed to our late arrival area. There is no electric hook up in this area but you will have access to the toilet & shower facilities. If you know you're arriving after 10pm and therefore will need to use our late arrival area, please book a normal grass non-electric pitch Top Field.

Q) We need to leave early to catch the Ferry at Dover - is this ok?
That's absolutely fine. Our campsite gate might be shut but it wont be locked. The gate will be opened at 7am but if you need to leave before then, please just open the gate and leave it open behind you. Please respect your fellow campers and leave quietly.
Q) How do I pay for my stay?
A small deposit is taken at the time of booking and the remaining balance is automatically taken from your account 21 days before your arrival date. The booking is then non-refundable. If you book within 21 days of your arrival date - the full balance is taken at the time of booking.
Q) Do we need a code or coins to use the showers?
No. Our showers & toilets are all unlocked and free to use during your stay.
Q) What time is Check in & Check out?
Check in from 13.00hrs and Check out before 11.00hrs please.
Q) Can I play music quietly on my pitch?
No. We dont allow music to be played at anytime to maintain a peaceful environment for everyone staying with us.
